JOAN MIRO(1893 - 1983) Spanish painter and perhaps the greatest of the Surrealist painters, his works are most noted for the vivid colors and hallucinatory figures. A.L.S. "Miro" 1p. 4to., [n.p.], Dec. 23, 1957, in French at the bottom of a sheet bearing an image of [his?] pottery, thanking the recipients for their invitation to a "......ballet tomorrow......", adding Christmas wishes at conclusion. Ink is quite faded, about 3/10. Central fold, otherwise very good condition. Estimated accordingly and sold as is.
