ERNESTO LECUONA (1895 - 1963) Cuban composer, considered the greatest of his generation, and remembered for his contributions to that country's musical legacy. Scarce A.L.S. 1p. on a 3 1/2" x 5 1/2" postcard, New York City, Oct, 23, 1916 to Angelica Busquet of Havana, sending greetings. Lecuona charmed crowds in a series of concerts in New York City's Aeolian Hall in 1916. Some light wear and yellowing around edges slightly affecting signature, slight uneven toning, else very good.
